Style way too much vermouth. If y'all want a perfect (dry) martini showcasing your preferred vodka here it is: Cascade vodka in a cocktail mixing glass. Fill with ice and stir/shake until chilled. In a chilled martini glass, pour approximately 1/2 ounce or less vermouth and swirl it fully around, rim to rim. Quickly cascade vermouth out. Add strained vodka to vermouth swirled glass, garnish and voila! Perfect vodka martini.
You tin can't get wrong with this!
Perfect Martini! I too similar to add a nuance of the olive juice. YUM Exist sure to use adept quality vodka.
thank you for sharing a basic martini recipe! I had to wade through dozens of sweet or gin recipes to find the perfect one!
Okay for a off-white or poor quality vodka. Vermouth take away the gasoline aftertaste. FIRST don't skimp on the quality of vermouth. Fifty-fifty the best vermouth is fairly inexpensive. The "Perfect Martini" = Chill a Martini glass AND shop the vodka in a freezer or fridge. Fill a steel shaker with ice then pour in a adept dose of QUALITY vermouth. Milk shake once or twice and and then pour information technology out the bulk of the vermouth or until the shaker kickoff only starts to drip (if y'all like a dry Martini) . Now you take the perfect corporeality of vermouth roofing the ice in the shaker. Pour in two-3 oz vodka, (If you take the means, Begluga Export or Gold line... or) Utilize a good quality Vodka (Belvedere, Kettle One, Grey Goose, Russian Standard Premiums, Stoli Gold) Shake slowly so as not to bruise the vodka (infuse with air and ice chips) until y'all feel the steel shaker frosting up. Dump the ice out of the drinking glass and cascade the shaker contents down the within rim of the drinking glass. I apply a ane/four inch thick lemon rind or if I desire "Dirty" I become with two Queen olives freshly stuffed with Dutch BlueCheese. Skol!
Perfect, simple vodka martini recipe. First time martini drinker (my wife) liked it. Apply a high quality vodka - I used Russian Standard Platinum. Like shooting fish in a barrel, tastes great.
I have been using this recipe for many years. The surreptitious to a good Matini is practiced Vermouth with any Vodka or Gin.
Followed the ratios to make two Martinis, no olives, added a one/4 tsp of lime juice for the two x beverages. Makes for a smashing Fri night relax!
Less vermouth! The offset one I didn't treat, the second with about 2/3 of what the recipe calls for was much improve.
This is the perfect vodka martini. In that location are lots of variations on the ratios of vermouth to vodka, just I've found I similar this all-time. Especially with Grey Goose Citron vodka. Yum!
Both my hubby and I take never had a martini before then nosotros really do not know what if information technology compares to annihilation but we actually like it. I am non a fan of light-green olives simply in this drink they are the bomb. My hubby like his muddy with a flake of olive juice and i like mine neat. either mode this is a cracking recipe.
I made this drink after watching some classic movies. They always referred to drinking martinis! I practice not drink alcoholic drinks very often, but I have had an apple martini. The vodka martini is a very potent drink. Not at all for occasional drinkers, if it doesn't grow hair on your chest, hair will grow somewhere!
I add a dash of orangish bitters for a little additional season. Use Russian Standard or Tito'southward
Made it -- proportions are practiced (please don't tell me to rinse the drinking glass with vermouth -- you need to be able to gustation the botanicals). I added a dash of fee brothers orangish bitters.
Style too much vermouth. I had to add about ii more cups of vodka to get this to a flavour level that I could drink. And distilled beverages really should be stirred.
I added 0.5 oz of olive juice and information technology was perfect
Used Grey Goose and jalapeno stuffed olives for a little boot. Practiced & healthy!
I don't brand gin martinis and I use a quality vodka, one/2 or less of the dry vermouth listed and saw someone recommended calculation olive brine. I love a dirty vodka martini, but calculation brine changes what y'all're making. If y'all use a good vodka you don't desire to step on it with the vermouth. When I apply a lemon twist I only wave the vermouth canteen over the glass and phone call it good. :)
This is perfect. A vermouth wash is not a vodka martini, it's just a glass of vodka with a vermouth wash. If you lot want a vodka martini with a wash, scotch is a pop option.
Woooo good if you like a strong beverage. Would definitely make again. Went by the recipe.
Citron Vodka NO Vermouth -- very chilled & frosted Drinking glass, a sixth of an inch of very frozen water ice on the lesser of the?? Glass garnish with 2 hand stuffed blue cheese olives
Don't forget ONE amazing addition: a drop of Worcestershire. It'southward what all of the fancy NYC confined practice. I read it in one case in a mag and I've had it with that little drib ever since.
